What is Small Business Financing?
Business financing is when a small business receives financing, such as an SBA loan, private credit, or line of credit, that is used solely for business purposes. In fact, most businesses rely on small business financing to help meet many of their needs. Small business financing can apply to anything business-related such as marketing efforts, location expansion, and general working capital.
At Block Equity, we understand how small businesses operate and we’ve created financing solutions to meet those needs. Our funding solutions offer a simple application process, easy-to-understand terms, and flexible payment options so small businesses can obtain the working capital they need when they need it most.
It all starts with an application so we can learn more about your small business. If we’re a fit and your business is fully approved, our team will work diligently to send over your business’ funds as quickly as possible. Browse our financing options and see what’s right for your business!

Small Business Financing Questions to Consider
Anywhere from $5,000 to $15 million depending on the product. SBA loans go up to $5 million, term loans up to $2 million, commercial real estate up to $15 million, lines of credit up to $750,000, and private credit from $5,000 to $5 million. Your revenue, credit, and time in business decide where you land.
It depends on the product and on how quickly you send your documents. Private credit and lines of credit move the fastest. SBA loans take longer because of the paperwork, and they offer the lowest rates and the longest terms in return. Once your application is complete, we keep it moving and keep you posted from start to finish.
Most products start at a 550 credit score, and SBA loans are stronger at 600 and above. If your credit is not there yet, private credit looks more at your revenue and receivables than at your score.
Most applications start with recent business bank statements, a photo ID, and a voided check. Larger loans and SBA loans also ask for tax returns and financial statements. Your advisor gives you one clear list up front so you are never chasing paperwork.
Yes, and private credit is built for exactly that. Payments flex with your credit card sales and receivables, so a slower month means a smaller payment. If you need a larger amount with fixed payments instead, a term loan may be the better fit.
It depends on the product if there are any fees at all, and there are never upfront fees.
